ARDC RAINED OUT AT ACCORD SPEEDWAY

~ A late day thunderstorm hit Accord Speedway Friday night wiping out the evenings activities, including the anticipated return of ARDC to the Ulster County, NY oval. It was initially announced that the Midgets would be back the following Friday July 23rd but scheduling conflicts have speedway promoters and scheduling agents looking for another suitable date.

Included in a full field of cars that had already checked into the pits, was the Grand Marshall, for the evenings activities, John Heydenreich. Heydenreich, who has relocated to Indianapolis, IN had his beautiful black 57B racer prepped for action. Also pitside and ready to renew some intense battles with Heydenreich was Bryan Kobylarz, a two time ARDC champion, who decided to come out of semi-retirement.

A rescheduled date will be announced, in the near future.
