ARDC RETURNS TO WILLIAMS GROVE SPEEDWAY FOR TOPLESS NIGHT

~ The Wingless Midgets of the American Racing Drivers Club will return to the historic Williams Grove Speedway Saturday July 10th, for Topless Night, along with Super Sportsman and 358 Late Models.

ARDC will be contesting two, 20 lap features. The first will be a makeup event from May 8th when rain curtailed the evenings activities after the heat races and will then have a complete show with heat and consolation races.

The Midgets, whose schedule is run completely without wings, will be joined by the Super Sportsman and the popular 358 Late Models. The twist is that the Super Sportsman will have to remove the sheet metal structures that normally adorn their roll cages and the Late Models will take off their roofs.

When ARDC was last at Williams Grove, in May, the heat races were won by, P.J. Gargiulo, Andrew Hannula and Steve Buckwalter, with Brett Arndt, taking the consolation. Since then Buckwalter has been on a tear, winning four ARDC features, including the last outing at Central Pennsylvania Speedway. In between Buckwalter traveled to Indiana and knocked off the USAC boys at Gas City.

Buckwalter will have plenty of competition from Eric Heydenreich who was the winner at Lincoln Speedway and Bridgeport winner, Ryan Smith who has been heating up this summer with a win and runner-up finish in the last two events.

Racing will get underway at 6:30pm.
